Have I Been Pwned — the breach-checking service from the lab, run by a respected security professional; you can also subscribe to get notified if your email appears in future breaches. Best as a set-and-forget early-warning system.
Google Phishing Quiz — the spot-the-fake training from the lab; the examples rotate and stay current. Best re-taken yearly, and shared with the family member most likely to click things.

EFF — Surveillance Self-Defense — plain-language security guides from the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a decades-old digital rights nonprofit: passwords, 2FA, encrypted messaging, and tailored guides for journalists, activists, and ordinary humans. Best next step after this module — the same honest tone, more depth.
Khan Academy — Online Data Security — the “Online data security” unit walks through attacks, encryption, and defenses with exercises and self-checks. Best for learners who want quiz-as-you-go structure.

Crash Course Computer Science — cybersecurity episodes — episodes 31–33 (“Cybersecurity”, “Hackers & Cyber Attacks”, “Cryptography”) animate this module’s ideas, including a friendly tour of the padlock-mailbox math. Best for a visual replay of encryption and attacks in ~36 total minutes.
